Pokemon Labo in Tokyo.. Too crowded...

Hi, this is  Tom of Pokecolle shop.

I visited Pokemon Labo last week...Pokemon Labo

Too too crawded...I arrived there at around 2 PM and could enter  the Museum at 6PM...

Firstly we did a game to find what kind of Pokemon in a monster ball.

Some hints are appear when put the ball on the machines..

 This is in my ball.... Arbok???


Those are gift monsters for Nintendo 3DS, pokemon XY.
My Charmander & Squirtle have evolved into Charizard  &  Blastoise
and waiting for mega-evolution now.



Also some real pictures for Pokemon Card Game was exhibited.
How detailed the pictures are painted!



 TOOO crowded.....  it would be better to visit weekday. never Saturdays and Sundays!


This Gyarados　is also powerful....has punch!!

Original Back marks / Pokemon card/ Iwatasan greatest jobs!

Hi, this is  Tom of Pokecolle shop.

I'm trying to show Japanese original back cards groups.

Those cards' flame color is yellow.



Expansion pack (1996 released):  in the red circle, there's no marks in it

Jungle(1997 released)  :  in the red circle, there' a mark of rafflesia (big flower in Jungle)

and the other marks for Japanese original backs as follows.



1 - Fossils  (1997 released)

2- Rocket (1997 released)

3- Gold , Silver to a new world ( 1999 released)

4- Crossing the ruins (2000 released)

5- Awaikening Legend (2001 released)

6- Darkeness and to light (2001 released)

Then changed to new back as now...

By the way...

Mr.Iwata president of Nintendo contributed expantion of Pokemon as well as of Super Mario, and others.   Thanks....

An exhibision called Pokemon Labo will be held during 2015.Jul. 8th~2015.Oct.12th in National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation ,  Odaiba, Tokyo,

Oh... Pokemon is exhibitiondisplay in Japanese National Museum.... too coooool.

Pokemon Center HIroshima is Open / pikachu wearing a Magikarp hood or a Gyarados hood

Hi, This is Tom of  Poke Colle shop

Pokemon Center in Hiroshima opened yesterday, 16th Jun 2015.

Why pikachi wearing Magikarp hood ?

Because a Japanese professional baseball team
named Hiroshima Carp is popular among Hiroshima people.


And many carps are living in a river flows through Hiroshima City,
 also antient castle in Hiroshima called 'Castle of Carps'.

That's why Hiroshima limited pikachu wearing Magicap like Carp and its evoleved Gyarados hood.

Today's Tokyo pokemon center...

It was too too crowded.. more than last time..

 The Pokemon Center Hiroshima's opening limited goods were replenished
minite to minite.... (here in Tokyo also)

But sell immediately minute to minute....

ooohhh, Greattttt.





By the way,  I hope my pokecolle shop will be great sale like this.... in the near future...

But I'm going to develop little by little...keeping my pace.

I went window shopping in Pokemon Center...

Today they looked busy...

because of bandid ring XY7 on sale from yesterday!

Real Pokemon Otakus ( Freaks)  were gathered together..

I found very cool stuffed toys ... aaalll  I want them...

and Swablu ...( in Japanese name : Chirutto)  cute cute cute...
brand-new...
all passing by says cuteeee  ( kyawaii...in Japanese)

Flying Swalbu also cute....

by the way ,,, today's my pokecolle shop recommended is...


Farfetch'd. .. a wild duck (Kamo) with green onion (Negi)
 means  'Convenient'  in Japan.

because   a wild duck with green onion is very convenient
for Japanese cooking ( a dish called 'Nabe')

How to know Expack / Charmander

Hi, this is Tom of Poke Colle.



The first issued pokemon card in Japan

are called Expansion Pack.(published October 20, 1996 )

How to know which one is Ex Pack?

There's a card.  Arcanine, cool boy..





 You check the red circle 1 as below.

If there's no mark, it is a card of Ex pack.

And check the right down corner, red circle as 2, there's a mark.
if it is a diamond ♦ = Uncommon .
if a circle  ●　= common and　 if a star ★= rare card.

So this Arcanine is Uncommon card..

and there's no mark in red circles 1& 2... It's the real first edition and very valuable.
(some exceptions / Promo/ Gym Leader)


As those Ex pack is played heavily and never concern about the value later,
near mint cards are difficult to find...

I'm opening a small shop for pokemon cards.

Pokemon cards were first published in 1996 as you know.

In that period in Japanese cards,  they have Japanese original backs as this.

This Japanese back has been printed 1996-2001 around 5 years, then changed to

new Japanese back , as simillar to other language versions but some small difference as follows.

Now I'm opening new shop and recommended item today is
